Would you rather own your electricity as opposed to renting it?
Right now most citizens receive their power from a large power plant connected to the national utility grid. The fossil fuels, and technology required to harness this electricity is proven to be harmful to the Earth and it's inhabitants.

You now have a simple, more intelligent option available for your energy needs. Own, manage, and monitor your electricity consumption by owning a Solar Energy or Water Heating System.

Solar, or PhotoVoltaic (PV) Panels are made to collect the Suns light and turn it into renewable electricity that can be used anywhere, anytime.

We have finally reached a time where Solar Energy manufacturers make products that are reliable, and can supply as much energy as you need. With the price of fossil fuels skyrocketing, more scientists all over the globe are working to perfect solar technology. This research will make Solar Collection Materials better as private and government funding increases.

Our government here in America has passed the Solar America Initiative. The goal is to have 1.3 Million homes powered by renewable Solar Energy by 2015.

We have a long way to go.

Photovoltaic Modules are also known as Solar Panels. SolarPanels come in many shapes and sizes. They range in the amount of energy they collect. When wired together the solar panels form a Solar Array. Solar Arrays work as one unit to generate high voltage electricity to power your property.

Silent, with no moving parts, Solar Electricity Panels are becoming more attractive and more reliable every day.

Solargy only uses products rated for Arkansas' unpredictable weather where we get a good dose of all four seasons. Stronger, longer lasting products UL listed and approved by the US Dept. of Energy.

On-Grid, or Grid-Tied systems are becoming more mainstream and accessible to everyone. In this type of installation you muscle your energy needs with the Solar Array, and stay connected to the national grid system. A less expensive way to do a grid-tied system is to power all your small appliances (110v)with the solar system, then use the grid to power your larger electricity loads (220v). This way you won't need as many panels.

You won't need an expensive battery storage system with this type application. If you wanted 100% solar power you would have to purchase a large enough system for all of your needs. Sometimes a battery backup is used when an emergency generator is not installed.

An Inverter changes the direct current (DC) that the Solar Array collects, into alternating current (AC) which your home is already wired for. Many types of inverters are on the market, we only offer a few brands that have been the top rated in the industry.

Other accessories are available to maximize the efficiency, and charge control of your system. Some components are offered by the utility company to monitor the bi-directional flow of the power meter.

Yes, this is when your power meter spins backwards.

Every utility company in Arkansas offers Net-Metering agreements. Our company takes care of the paperwork involved in this. Net-Metering is the storage of your surplus energy collected by your Solar Array. Your local utility will store your surplus energy, and you use it when you need it.

Some utility companies even give you money for your surplus energy flowing into the national grid. All should.

This is a big issue in Congress. The big oil, and power companies are now realizing the reality that each home could easily become a private power plant. They don't like the idea of paying us for electricity, but some politicians think it's a great idea.

Off-Grid or Self-Sufficient systems are used when you must provide your own electricity anytime, anywhere. Mostly homes too far from the power grid. Other common uses are runways, boat docks, boats, cabins, and agriculture. Most of the time you will need a battery storage system to store the collected energy from the system.

More farmers are realizing the benefits of Solar Technology. Small Solar applications are used for feeding cattle, and maintaining and watering crops.

The USDA has many great programs for the modern farmer looking to use renewable energy. Agriculture has far more rebates and incentives than any other application.

Energy Waste Inspections are always a great way to lower your current utility bills. We send a technician to your location to run various tests to find and repair energy waste. We offer many solutions to your high electric and water bills. We look forward to working with local real estate companies in the pursuit of lowering overall carbon emissions.

If you have bought a house, call us before you move in to secure the lowest possible utility bills. If you are a homeowner, and your utility bills seem too high, give us a call and we can figure out why. We are prepared to repair any problems we may find.

Real Estate companies who use our services will be able to lower energy waste on homes all over. This is why we offer discounts for real-estate companies on Waste Inspections. Older rentals are always in need of a check up.

A solar energy system is a large investment. This investment is different in the fact that it is guaranteed to payoff big. The overall cost of owning a system varies greatly depending on your location, and needs.

The cost, if financing, will be about the same as you currently pay for your monthly utility bill without the wild inflation of fossil fuels. The best part is that once the system is paid for, you are making thousands every year, for life. Some systems pay off in a few years, others take much longer. It just depends on what you purchase.

The US Government is offering a 30% total cost rebate for anyone installing a solar energy system on their property in the USA. Hopefully Arkansas will soon offer a few more incentives, I recommend writing our Senators.

Statistics show that for every $1.00 you save on energy, you gain $20.00 in property value. The average property in Arkansas installing a medium sized PV system, gains $15,000.00 in value.

GreenHomes are super energy efficient homes. We hope to start construction on a few as soon as everyone in the network gets together to discuss where they are to be built. This is a brand new idea that should make owning a home much easier since the monthly bills will be so low. If you are interested in owning a GreenHome just let us know and we will explain the procedure.

Remember that at Solargy we will always charge the lowest amount possible for the installation. We are an honest company, doing something good for the environment, and the National Economy. The small staff at Solargy is always easy to work, and communicate with.
